About Myles A Davis

  • Davis played at the University of Central Florida in 2013-15, and was an American Athletic Conference all-academic selection. Prior to UCF, he played two seasons at Palm Beach State College from 2011-13, helping his team to a 55-8 record and an impressive #2 national ranking during that span and earning all-academic honors in the process.

  • He served as an assistant coach at Barry University in Miami, Florida, where he helped the Buccaneers earn a berth into the 2016 NCAA Division II Elite Eight and a Southeast Regional Championship. Barry finished the season 26-7 overall, captured the Sunshine State Conference (SSC) Regular Season Championship and held an impressive 14-0 record on its home court.

  • At Barry, Coach Myles helped tutor guards Yunio Barrueta and Elvar Fridriksson. Barrueta was voted an All-American by four different organizations and named the SSC Player of the Year in 2016, before signing a pro contract. Fridriksson was named the SSC Newcomer of the Year and led the nation with 8.1 assists per game in 2016 and is currently a 4-year pro.

  • Davis has travelled the country coaching camps for Rising Stars Basketball Academy, University of Central Florida (UCF), UNC Chapel Hill (UNC), Phieffer University, & Barry University.

  • Coach Davis is entering his 3rd season with Potter’s House Christian Academy. He also served as Associate Head Coach of the formerly Atlanta based prep school, Lincoln Academy, during the 2017-18 season. where they went 32-9 as a first-year program and sent 9 players to play Division 1 basketball.

  •  He earned a master's degree in Educational Curriculum and Instruction from Salem International University in 2017, a bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences from UCF in 2015, and had a minor in coaching.
